New Members to The Family

On a boring holiday afternoon, dad decided to add some new members to the family. ;P He brought the gals to a nearby aquarium. This is the first time the gals visited an aquarium and they are quite excited. The gals choose their own fish. And now we have 2 new members added to our family! :) Since I already have my hands full with the 2 gals, dad is the one looking after these 2 new members - which is definitely much easier.

Kristal's Face Swollen!

This morning Kristal woke up with a swollen face! There are red patches on her right eyelid, cheek, chin and forehead. And the patches are slightly swollen! She look so poor thing. :( After thinking through, we believe that she could be allergic to the health supplement that I just started giving her yesterday - Bonnisan. It is a digestive tonic prescribe by PD. It is supposed to help Kristal improve her appetite, promote weight gain and healthy growth. I have stopped giving her the supplement today, but her face still look quite bad. :( I hope she will be ok tomorrow, else we may need to bring her to doctor again. Sigh.. this girl is really quite poor thing leh... always kena all these things one... so heartache.... :(

Kristine's Lunar Birthday

Today is Kristine's lunar birthday-四月初八. Her 奶奶 specially prepared the traditional 长寿面线 with a big drumstick and two hard boiled eggs for her. After eating the 长寿面线, Kristine will be 快高长大,身体健康 and 平平安安! :)

Tiger Dance?

This morning there was a group of lion dancers bypassing our block. In the midst of all the clanks and bangs, Kristal suddenly asked "Mummy, 为什么是 Lion Dance, 不是 Tiger Dance?" err.. Anyone has a good answer to that?　

Kristine Turns TWO!

Kristine turns TWO today - 5 May 08! We had another mini celebration again and this time round, Dad specially bought her favourite durian cake for her! :) Yummy! Yummy! She can't wait to taste it....

Kristine Is Turning TWO!

As our whole family was in Bali last year when Kristine turned one, we didn't have any party for Kristine's 1st Birthday. So this year, to make up for it, we arranged a party for Kristine's 2nd Birthday! The party was two days in advance on 3 May. The kids had lots of fun with all the balloons, pretty cupcakes, bubbles blowing, car riding, motor cycling and toys! It's indeed tiring at the end of the day, but it's definitely worth it after seeing how the birthday princess enjoyed herself! :)

Wow.. Look at the cupcakes! They are so pretty! Especially the Kristine "princess-face" cupcake - isn't it pretty!



But of course, the actual Princess Kristine is definitely much prettier!! :)

The kids can't wait to get their hands on all the pretty cupcakes! :)

1st Trip to The Beach!

Kristine is turning TWO on 5 May, so we organised a BD celebration for her on 3 May (Sat) evening. To kick start the celebration, Dad decided to bring the gals out for a breakfast treat at West Coast Mac, as well as to drop by the near-by playground.

After the breakfast, instead of playing at the near-by playground which was crowded, we went to the beach to enjoy the breeze. The gals ended up having so much fun at the beach as we came across a very good spot that's shady and windy. We did not bring any barang barang, so the gals had to make do with whatever we can find on the beach to build their sand castles and sandman. :) This was the first time the gals played at a beach!

Kristine's Advance Birthday Gift from Dad!

Wow... look at what Dad has gotten for Kristine as a birthday gift! A fully auto-mated car! It is fully equipped with frontlights, honk, and even a sound system! She was so excited when she saw it! She can't wait for Dad to fully unwrapped it to give it a "test drive"! :)

Hmmm... seems like Kristine is a very satisfied car owner after her "test drive"! :)

Latest Handphone Model?

Kristine modelling for the latest handphone model? No! This is just a lobster fridge magnet! :) Who else but Ah Ma will buy such unusual things. But the girls do find it interesting too. Guess they have the same taste as Ah Ma.. oh no...

The Girls First Umbrellas!

Look at the 2 pretty umbrellas that Ah Yi bought for the girls! It is their first umbrella! Dora & Princess are their favourite too! No wonder the girls are so happy! Thanks, Ah Yi! :)

Which Animal Runs Faster- Cat or Mouse?

Last night, while sharing a story about cat & mouse with Kristal, she suddenly asked "Mummy, which Animal Runs Faster-Cat or Mouse?" So I questioned her back. Without even pausing to think, she said "Mouse!" I asked her why and this is what she said: "Because the song goes 三只老鼠　三只老鼠　跑的快　跑的快!" I was laughing and I asked her is it 老鼠 or 老虎? She realised her mistake and started to laugh too! :)

We had a good laugh about this. But I am still amazed by her witty response despite the slight confusion! :)

Rare Smile

This was taken on 23 April, 7 days after admission. Kristal was feeling much better and this was one of e rare time that she smiles during this period.

Kristal Hospitalised!

Kristal was sent to NUH A&E on 17 Apr 08 @ about 0430hrs! She had been running high fever (highest @ 41 degree!) for 6 days, and was getting worst! So we had to rush her to NUH Children A&E @ 0430hrs.

Due to her high fever and slight dehydration, she had to be admitted. A plug was inserted on her left hand for the drip and antibiotic. She was screaming and crying for me! And she had to go though the same process few days later on her right hand as her left hand swell. I m so heartache. She had nightmares too. Poor Girl.. :(

She was diagnosed with pnuemonia and was hospitalised for 9 days! Discharged on 26 April 08!
